On cheerful design...
Its been a while since i've done a 'cheerful' site. I can't remember. I keep producing 'noir' websites, good looking maybe but lacking 'warmth'. Respect to designers who manage to create slick yet bright websites. I seem to have to resort to dark themes to get any kind of feel to the design. In fact, desaturating images in Photoshop has become a perverse hobby :p. This time around, I've added huge gobs of pure color to make up for the dark tones. Predictably, even the bold colors are desaturated...

It's alive!
6 years after being introduced to <HTML>, the site is finally up. Sure, there were a few previous versions that were 'inflicted' upon the Net and many more versions that died a silent death in Photoshop. Content and purpose were always issues. A webbie celebrating pure design was a good alternative except that none of the designs that were churned out made the cut. There's finally some purpose now; the site revolves around the Portfolio, chockful of content!
